Drug
and Alcohol WELLNESS PROGRAM
The goals for future wellness are developed for each individual
client using the guidelines of total health of mind, body and spirit.
Each client will learn skills that are directly applicable to developing
a sober lifestyle, and to the development of the knowledge necessary
to maintain wellness of the mind, body and the spirit.
Every client is encouraged to develop a total program for future
wellness that incorporates care of the body along with the mind
and spirit, while the client is undergoing a program of sobriety.
As a part of this program, each client is offered a safe living
environment, clean water, healthy food and daily vitamin and mineral
supplementation, and each client will be required to obtain a private
physician to look after their personal medical needs.
Every client will be encouraged to have their own personal private
physician or health care provider to advise them concerning regular
medical care, and to give advice on preventive care and wellness.
If a client does not have a personal physician then we require
each client to obtain a physician for their own private medical
care.
NCR will provide a list of several private physicians in the
area, and the client may consult one of these physicians for physical
examinations, blood tests, medication monitoring, or other services
as necessary.
